2025 Day of the Dead Festival
The Chico Day of the Dead Festival is almost here! 🌼💀 Join us for a vibrant celebration of culture, remembrance, and community. Enjoy a day filled with handmade goods, delicious food, colorful altars, and fun activities for the whole family—all inspired by the rich traditions of Día de los Muertos.
Bring photos, food, letters, and other items to add to the community altar.
Live Music Performances:
🎺 Mariachi Corcel – Let the powerful sounds of mariachi music stir your soul as this talented group brings traditional Mexican classics to life.
🎤 Suika T – A dynamic artist blending Latin flair with modern beats, Suika T will bring an unforgettable energy to the festival.
🎧 DJ Amayita – Feel the rhythm with DJ Amayita’s vibrant mix of Latin-inspired tracks that will keep the celebration flowing all day long.
Dance Performances:
🌟 Sueño de las Estrellas (Chico State) – This spirited student dance group will showcase traditional folkloric dances that honor Mexican heritage and storytelling.
👴 Danza de Viejitos – Witness the charm and humor of this iconic folk dance, which blends satire and reverence in a moving tribute to elders and ancestors.
🌸 Las Hijas de Maria – A stunning all-female ensemble celebrating culture through beautifully choreographed folklórico dances.
Face Painting, Balloon Tying, & More!
